MP Tripleplay

MP TRIPLEPLAY is a combination of all three MATCHPLAY soil moisture products - MP STRIKE, MP SHIELD and MP SUSTAIN in the convenience of a granular formulation. It is designed to penetrate, promote and protect soil water use efficiency.

Applied to dry turf, MP TRIPLEPLAY has little contact with foliage as it filters down to the lower levels of the turf sward. Therefore immediate irrigation is not necessary and turf safety is absolutely assured. MP TRIPLEPLAY significantly increases the water holding capability of soil, without interruption to drainage of free soil water. MP TRIPLEPLAY will increase the ability of water to penetrate into the soil by reducing surface tension.

Simultaneously MP TRIPLEPLAY increases the coverage of water around individual soil particles and holds it for use by plant roots. Because MP TRIPLEPLAY is a stable wetting formulation, it remains in soils to help re-wetting time and time again, through the most challenging summers in the most difficult soils.

Formulation/Analysis:

  • 15% MP TRIPLEPLAY liquid concentrated mixture of MP STRIKE, MP SHIELD and MP SUSTAIN 85% Inert carrier (attapulgite clay)

Benefits:

  • Stabilises the wetting and drying cycle of treated soil
  • Promotes a uniform wetting front to evenly wet dry soils
  • Significantly increases water holding capacity of soil
  • Convenience of a granular formulation
  • Minimises wastage of water from uneven drainage patterns
  • Promotes uniform distribution of pores for root zone aeration
  • Stable formulation provides excellent turf safety and longevity

Potential for Burn:

Low

Application Timing, Special Instructions and Rates:

  • Apply MP TRIPLEPLAY at 200 kg/ha with a granular spreader, able to be calibrated for even application. Dry application is completely safe to turf where immediate irrigation is not available. The product will not activate until it is watered in with sufficient irrigation or rainfall to deliver it to the root zone.
  • Application frequency is contingent on the soil type and its susceptibility to hydrophobicity.
  • For susceptible soils a reduced rate applied every 4-6 weeks is recommended while average soils can be treated with a higher rate to achieve up to 6 months control of dry patch.
