Terafirm Soil Penetrant

Terafirm is a non-phytotoxic soil penetrant developed to promote accelerated water movement away from the soil surface by creating crevices, opening pore space and reducing the water’s surface tension and facilitating downward water movement (as quickly as the soil physical properties allow). Terafirm will not contribute to excess water holding that sometimes results with use of wetting agents.

Benefits:

  • Promotes downward water movement, away from the soil surface for faster drainage, reduced surface ponding and maintenance of soil porosity and aeration.
  • Helps to prevent anaerobic soil conditions

Terafirm will not cause soils to hold additional water as many wetting agents do.

Application Timing, Special Instructions and Rates:  

  • Terafirm can be used on a program basis prior to seasonal periods of heavy moisture on poorly draining areas and then replaced with a soil wetting agent during hot and dry months when moisture is limited. 
  • It can also be used as a spot treatment in advance of periods of high moisture. 
  • Efficacy has shown to increase with multiple applications and continued use.

  • Spot Treatment 7-13L/Ha
