TFAIR was developed for turf managers seeking the benefits of a wetting agent at an affordable price for application on sports fields, fairways and roughs. Specifically designed to treat native soils, TFAIR provides protection against LDS while increasing irrigation efficiency.
Using a premium wetting agent like TriCure AD at off-label, reduced rates is a cost-effective option. Unfortunately, budgetary constraints often still limit the application of wetting agents to large acreage areas of managed turf.
Benefits:
- Affordable for use on fairways, roughs, sports fields & amenity turf
- Non-phytotoxic - Does not need to be watered in immediately whilst maintaining full efficacy
- Compatible plant protection and nutrition products to improve product placement in soil profile
- Improves irrigation efficiency and conserves water
- Low viscosity & low application rate make ideal injection through irrigation systems
- Increase longevity of LDS control when TFAIR by injection is combined with TriCure boom spray applications
Potential for Burn:
Low
Application Timing, Special Instructions and Rates:
-
- TFAIR can be applied throughout the growing season to prevent hydrophobic soil conditions and to conserve water. Applications work best if applied to turfgrass before the onset of localized dry spot or drought stress. TFAIR does not need to be watered in immediately.
- Spray Applications: 1.5 - 3 lt/ha (monthly, up to every 2 weeks as needed).
- Fortnightly rates of 1.5 L/ha may fit certain situations better.Tank-mixing TFAIR with foliar-applied nutrients or other turfgrass products is encouraged to help uniformly distribute turf-applied products into the plant and soil.
- Application by Injection: 1.5 - 3 lt/ha (monthly, up to every 2 weeks as needed).
- TFAIR can be injected through an irrigation system to achieve water savings and to improve the even distribution of applied water and chemicals into native soils. Monthly rates can be applied in split applications.
- For sand-based root zones where TFAIR is not recommended, consider a premium wetting agent like TriCure to move water multidirectionally in all soil profiles & types. TriCure remains the strongest wetting agent on the market, facilitating uniform moisture distribution through the rootzone to prevent and treat localized dry spots.
