TriCure Soil Surfactant

TriCure AD® is an advanced, non-phytotoxic wet-ting agent designed to prevent the development of hydrophobic soil conditions and Localized Dry Spots while optimizing use of rain and irriga-tion water.

Upper soil profiles contain varied combinations of soil, sand, thatch and organic amendments. These components interact and influence how water, air and nutrients are received. TriCure AD soil surfactant is formulated to effectively treat all of these soil and organic surfaces, without the risk of excessive water retention.

Formulation/ Analysis:

  • 100% Oxirane 2-methyl polymer with oxirane

Potential for Burn: 

  • Overexposure causes eye irritation, excessive watering, redness
  • Overexposure to skin may cause itching and redness
  • Harmful if swallowed. May cause diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.
  • Wear approved eye protection and clothing

Application Timing, Special Instructions and Rates:

  • 120 ml/monthly (regular use for normal conditions)
  • 180 ml/monthly (high stress conditions and curative for LDS)
  • First application should be in early spring, or when first signs of heat stress appear
  • Applications can be made monthly or on a sea-sonal basis (effective approximately three months). Refer to the Spray Application Rates section to determine the appropriate rate. (Note:To maintain an even, optimum surfactant level in the soil, monthly applications are preferable.)
  • In warmer climates, application should be year-round or when environmental stress conditions begin to impact turf performance. Immediate watering-in is not necessary to prevent burning as TriCure AD is non-phytotoxic. For best results, heavy irrigation is recommended when applying to facilitate movement of chemicals into the soil.
  • Although TriCure AD® can be mixed with most chemicals used in turf management, it is recom-mended that field-testing be done on a small area before spraying to assure safety concerns are met.
